As a child I loved to play school. During lessons I wrote on the chalkboard while lecturing, pausing periodically to ask an imaginary class questions and assign group activities.
I still teach lessons, but now they are in person and online for diverse and multigenerational learners. My chalkboard transformed into an interactive whiteboard too and I use sound instructional design methodologies (like ADDIE and Rapid Prototyping) to design instruction and training.
But I do more than just teach classes. I also design multimedia learning objects and training. Using video, audio, infographics and learning management systems, I connect learners with knowledge.
